Julius Caesar Life
The name of Julius Caesar will remain in history for study for years. The man was a roman born on the month of July 100BC. The man was tall and was well built. In addition to these he was fair-haired. He however suffered epilepsies occasionally. During the time he was growing up, there was unrest and war of civil nature in Rome. Cheap slave labor was on the increase also. This was due to the efforts of increasing the size of the empire. Many roman workers in the period thus remained unemployed due to the slave cheap labor. Maris and Sulla were the leaders at the period. The civil wars were creating much turmoil in Italy. The Era made these two leaders famous. Julius being from an aristocratic family was expected to be in office on completion of studies. Caesar however, did not like the idea as he was unlike most of the Romans. In his young age he had realized how corrupt leaders had become and how badly this affected the empire. At 15, his father passed away. He thus did not train his son on leadership. Caesar on the other hand found a chance to be a better man. He married from a distinguished family and began creating connection politically especially with friends and supports of Mauris. He was however arrested at 19 by the dictator Sulla was an enemy of Mauris. All the others were killed and Caesar went to exile.
Caesar Goes into Exile
He ran to join the army. In the army he got trained intensively as he wanted to bring changes in Rome. After leaving army he furthered education in southern Italy. He was talented and was sharp and was good in speaking out publicly. He also took some time sat the island where he was unlucky to be in hands of the pirates. He displaced some level of ruthlessness in the time. when he got released, he later hunted the pirates and killed them. When he returned to Rome, he campaigned and was lucky to get voted in the administration. He continued having support from people of Rome. Many senators did not like him though. He later got into a religious post.
Achievements of Julius Caesar
He became a general and a Governor in the empire and was successful. He did not lose in any war he led. he also fixed the calendar. Another achievement is that he was also a law giver. He swept a system that was corrupt. He also started the instigation of laws against extortions. Unfortunately, the great man was assassinated.
